LX1000 and LX2000 Color Label Printer

The LX2000 is Primera’s fastest-ever inkjet desktop color printer. It produces labels at speeds of up to 6″ per second.Large, separate ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black keep the cost per label low. Other features include pigment-based ink for stronger resistance to UV light, chemicals and water, built in “pizza-wheel” cutter, viewing window to see label stock levels and wired or wireless connection options.
The new LX1000 has the same pigment-based ink and prints speeds of up to 4″ per second. LX1000 offers a lower price point with windows only support and no in-built cutter.

BS5609 Section 2 & 3 Approved

chemical label The LX1000 and LX2000 pigmented ink and CX-Series toner are now BS5609 (Marine Immersion Label testing standard) certified when printed on BS5609 approved materials. Smithers Pira, the worldwide authority on the packaging, paper and print industry supply chains, tested three materials, (previously approved for BS5609) with GHS text, coloring and pictograms. The testing included print key effectiveness, abrasion resistance and permanence of print evaluations. All three materials, ink and toner passed all three categories with flying colors.GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals) is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labeling of chemicals defining health, physical and environmental hazards.
